A Nebraska native, Dr. John D. Brinkman earned his medical degree (’85) from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. Dr. Brinkman completed both his Internship and Residency in General Surgery at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas, Texas before serving his country for four years in the U.S. Navy.
A Board Certified Surgeon, Dr. Brinkman specializes in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care with a special interest in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Breast Cancer Surgery. His favorite part of the job is meeting and interacting with patients and fellow physicians. When he’s not performing surgery, Dr. Brinkman enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and cheering for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Nebraska Huskers.
