Wilbert B. Pino Jr., M.D., is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and an active Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1983 and his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1987.
Dr. Pino Served as an active duty US Army medical officer after graduation from medical school where he completed his Internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1994.
For the past 25 years Dr. Pino has practiced as a general orthopedic with a special interest in pediatric orthopedics and spine surgery serving in this capacity at multiple facilities to include Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Minnesota and private practice. Dr. Pino is fluent in Spanish and most recently served as Chief of Orthopedics at the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital.
