Dr. Lori Bubenheimer has been a certified audiologist for over 25 years, with occupational audiology as an emphasis for the last 10. She obtained her Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis and her Doctorate from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Previously, she served as the Occupational Audiologist for CSX Transportation, managing the company’s Hearing Conservation Program for more than 12,000 employees across the Eastern US. She has worked as a diagnostic audiologist at several teaching hospitals including UF/Shands Jacksonville and the University of Washington in Seattle where she originated and directed hearing aid services for adults.
Dr. Bubenheimer has lived in Jacksonville, FL, for 25 years. She has a strong interest hearing conservation, electrophysiology, and hearing aids. Dr. Bubenheimer has served as guest lecturer for Masters level courses in noise and physics at several Universities. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and any time spent with her family.
