Dr. Carter was born and raised in Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree at Auburn University and Doctorate of Audiology from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Carter completed his residency at an ENT clinic in Mobile, Alabama where he met his wife. After managing a private practice in Mobile, AL for two years he and his wife decided to move to the Emerald Coast in 2018 to continue his career and raise their family. Dr. Carter has done several rotations in ENT settings, private practices, and University settings. He has been coming to this area with family since he was an infant and has always considered this his happy place and it has always felt like home. Dr. Carter and his wife are very happy to call Santa Rosa Beach their home and is beyond thrilled to be a part of Emerald ENT.

Dr. Carter has always loved helping people. He finds gratification on a daily basis by helping resolve a person’s dizziness and/or giving them the ability to hear again. Improving someone’s quality of life is what Dr. Carter strives to do and it brings him great joy to have the ability to do that here at Emerald ENT.
