Dr. Alexander Farag is an expert Rhinologist, who is fellowship trained in nose, skull base and orbital surgery. Trained in rhinology and skull base surgery, his specialty focuses on treatment of issues and illnesses with the nose and sinuses including revision surgery as well as some tumors of the eye and brain using minimally invasive approaches.
Dr. Farag comes to Orange Park by way of the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Eye and Ear Institute where he served as an Associate Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Farag pioneered and developed software to personalize patient care and track quality of life outcomes thus streamlining the patient experience while quantifying surgical success. This novel software allows us to track and provide world class surgical outcomes.
Dr. Farag has lectured and taught at surgical courses worldwide, which was attended by ENT surgeons, residents and fellows. Dr. Farag has also been recognized as a leader and has participated in the prestigious Faculty Leadership Institute, as well as has lectured many times internationally sharing his knowledge and surgical expertise with other surgeons from around the world. Dr. Farag holds a BA from The College of Wooster in Chemistry and an M.D. from the University of Toledo. He did his postgraduate training at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and his fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Farag is passionate about providing personalized care for his patients and when not working with patients; Dr. Farag enjoys swimming, golfing and spending time with his wife, son and daughter.
