Amanda Briese, DO

Bio

Dr. Amanda Briese grew up in Ormond Beach, Florida and always knew she wanted to be a doctor. Before and during medical school, she had the opportunity to work with the North Florida Surgeons team, where she discovered her passion for patient care and the meaningful relationships built through surgery. She went on to study at the University of Florida for her undergraduate, earned a Master’s in Neuroscience from the University of South Florida, and complete her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton. She completed her General Surgery Residency training in Wilmington, North Carolina at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center. During her training she received her certification in Robotic Surgery, reflecting her advanced training and expertise in minimally invasive, robot-assisted procedures.

Known for her compassionate approach, Dr. Briese values taking the time to truly connect with her patients and guide them through their care with empathy and respect. She’s especially excited to now provide care for the same community where she first began her medical career.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys practicing yoga as a certified instructor, spending time outdoors with her dog, traveling, enjoying live music, and making memories with her family and friends.
