Dr. Bud Shuler is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon, experienced in minimally invasive treatment of venous and arterial diseases. Dr. Shuler received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency training in General Surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He also furthered his education by completing fellowships in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and in vascular surgery at Atlanta Medical Center.
Dr. Shuler currently serves as President and Managing Partner of Vascular Associates, LLC. His talent and passion for the treatment of venous disease in addition to his experience as a Fellowship-Trained Vascular Surgeon specializing in veins make him one of the most sought after physicians in the panhandle of Florida. In addition to his practice duties, Dr. Shuler also serves on the Coding and Reimbursement Committee for the American College of Phlebology (Vein Specialist) and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also actively involved in numerous committees in the medical community.
On top of his service to the community, Dr. Shuler also served in the United States Air Force as a general and combat surgeon when he was deployed to Afghanistan in 2001-2002. He is active in several professional organizations and has appeared in numerous publications, abstracts and presentations throughout his practice history.
