Mrs. Karlie Lotz is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) and Florida native working alongside Dr. Craig Morgenthal who specializes in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. She then attended Nova Southeastern University (Jacksonville) where she received her Masters of Medical Science (MMS) degree in Physician Assistant studies with highest honors.
Karlie values establishing trusting relationships and partnering with her patients along their journey to wellness and improved control of their health. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, veteran husband, and dog. She grew up playing softball and basketball, which is still a recreational interest. She is a huge sports fan in general but spends her time rooting for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Florida Gators, and New York Yankees.
