Mark W. White MD, FACS, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Florida State University School of Medicine Daytona Beach Campus. He is the former Chief of General Surgery and Trauma Medical Director at Halifax Health. He is also a member of the Volusia County Medical Society.
Dr White was born and raised in Ormond Beach where his father practiced Pediatrics for over 50 years. His surgical interests include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery (gallbladder, appendix, spleen, colon, and anti-reflux), breast surgery, hernia surgery, and trauma. Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time with family, travel, golf, and surfing.
