Dr. Paul J. Chappano earned both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency in General Surgery and as Chief Surgical Resident at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Chappano also served eight years with the United States Military at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and at Camp Pendleton in California.
A Board Certified General Surgeon, Dr. Chappano is an active member of the American Cancer Society’s Duval Unit and his favorite part of being a general surgeon is the gratefulness his patient’s express for helping them fulfill their optimal health. A father of six, Dr. Chappano enjoys spending his non-working hours boating, going to see live music, watching his kid’s sporting events and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Panthers.
