Dr. Buck Scott was born and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. He attended undergraduate at University of Florida and medical school at University of Miami. Dr. Scott completed his residency at Ochsner clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana. Before joining North Florida Surgeons, he practiced general surgery in Lake Wales, Florida. Dr. Scott is excited to move back to his home town and help patients in this community. He is currently taking on the role as an acute care surgeon, handling all manner of emergent and urgent general surgery cases. In his free time, Dr. Scott enjoys boating, fishing, spending time with family, and good barbecue.
