Dr. Berlin is a General Surgeon who holds Board Certification and is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Originating from Fall River, Massachusetts, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. Dr. Berlin further pursued her medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, NY, where she obtained her medical degree.
Completing her surgical residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Berlin also served as a Captain in the United States Army Medical Department. Her proud service included assignments at the Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Aurora, CO, and Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC.
Residing in Clay County for over 16 years, Dr. Berlin has actively contributed to the medical community. She served as the past president of the Clay County Medical Society and held various board positions in different hospitals, including Chairman of the Department of Surgery. Beyond her medical commitments, Dr. Berlin finds joy in family time and earned the affectionate nickname “Mamarazzi” due to her passion for photography and unwavering support for local youth sports teams.
