A licensed Physician Assistant and Florida native, Lauren joined Florida Plastic Surgery Group in 2017, having previously worked in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Lauren earned her B. S. from Florida State University, where she studied Biological Science and Chemistry. She then attended the University of Florida College of Medicine to earn her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Following graduation, Lauren pursued her aesthetic interest, providing laser hair removal at Ideal Image. In 2013, she joined the plastic surgery department at the Mayo Clinic – Jacksonville, where she first assisted in both cosmetic and reconstructive cases. Her training and knowledge continued to grow when she practiced aesthetics in Atlanta, Georgia. There, she performed consultations for an array of cosmetic surgery procedures, as well as CoolSculpting®, Ultherapy®, Hydrafacial®, and cosmetic injectables such as BOTOX® Cosmetic/Dysport®, JUVÉDERM®, and Restylane®.
In addition to surgery and injectables, Lauren performs microneedling and KYBELLA® procedures, and was instrumental in bringing Dr. Zein Obagi’s medical skin care line, ZO® Skin Health, to Florida Plastic Surgery Group.
